Amazing photograpy
There are some of the entries to have made the 2017 Sony World Photography Awards, now in its tenth year

In all, 49 countries are represented in the shortlist, with the winners to be revealed on April 20 in London

"Photographer Yong Lin Tan Year says of this image: 'I shot this from the balcony of the flat I'm staying at, and further composited and manipulated the photograph to deliver the surreal feeling of staying in a concrete jungle and the desire for freedom - I wish it was a pool of fish instead of a car park full of cars'"

A person commented on the cement/gold fish photographer's feelings as pompous. I didn't get that at all. I got a person longing for nature.

Actually, when I first saw that car park photo I thought it was fish/car hybrids for some reason. It was only when reading comments I realized it was carp.
