Quote:The Obama administration Tuesday appealed a U.S. judge's ruling in Florida that struck down its landmark healthcare overhaul law as unconstitutional because it required Americans to buy healthcare insurance or face a penalty.

The fight over the law is expected to reach the Supreme Court.

Read it all at huffingtonpost.com

The States are already spending money on this, and in the end I think it will be struck down. The government has no authority to force people to purchase anything, nor can it penalize citizens for failing to engage in commerce, that is absolutely absurd.

this is a big agenda of pharmaceutical companies, it's not going to go away until it reaches a higher court. meanwhile all the money that has already been spent in preparation and the beginning of implementation will undoubtedly make this the most expensive healthcare system that never happened.

Estimates are Obamacare will cost 23% of GDP by 2015. Absolutely insane, the US already spends nearly double (15%) what the other OECD countries spend (8%) It's just another money grab by industry. Big Pharma wrote that bill. Unconstitutional is right.

Here's one that says 21% by 2019 but .gov site so maybe a conservative estimate. Even if it isn't it's still an obscene expense.
