RE: SONGS

Yes everybody can hate the vocals but the guitars...ğkking awesome! Omerta! Google the term.

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I Die, You are forgiven. If I Live, I will kill you." Such is the Rule of Honor.

Broken the paradigm an example must be set.
Invoke the Siren's song and sign the death warrant.
This is what has been wrought for 30 pieces of silver.
The tongues of men and angels bought by a beloved betrayer.

I am the result, what's better left unspoken.
Violence begins to mend what was broken.
You've been talking, I've been all ears.

Words meant to dwell in darkness shall never see the light of day.
Words can be broken so can bones, execute the mandate.
Mouth full of dirt your name is removed from the registry.
St. Peter greets with empty eyes then turns and locks the gate.

I am the result, what's better left unspoken.
Violence begins to mend what was broken.
You've been talking, I've been all ears.
Omerta.

Cheaply venal, stupidly verbose.
A slip of the tongue, a slit of the throat.
Six feet under with no marker.
Keep my name from your mouth forever.
Free speech for the living, dead men tell no tales.
Your laughing finger will never point again.
Omerta.
Omerta.
Sing for me now.

RE: SONGS
This song is sheer genius

Waiting by the shoreline
In Somalia for your reply
I need you to come see me
That's no lie
The guns are getting closer
The sweat pours like dew
That fell from the trees in Tripoli
In the spring

I'm white hot
I can't take it anymore
I'm white hot
By the Somalian shore
Yes I'm burning to the core
I need rain

Cast out from the jungle
With no rations or canteen
For selling faulty riffles
To the thieves in Tanzania

Adventures and misfortune
Nothing wagered, nothing gained
I have wandered through the desert
Found the ocean not the rain

I can remember the nights by the strand in Tripoli
We were so much cooler then
I had you and my poetry to protect me
We were so much younger then
I need rain

I'm white hot
I can't take it anymore
I'm white hot
By the Somalian shore

I'm white hot
Yes I'm burning to the core
I need rain, I need rain, I need rain

I can remember the nights by the sea in Tripoli
Were were so much colder then
I had you and my poetry to protect me
We were both soldiers then
Bolder then, colder then
I need rain, I need rain, I need rain
White hot
White hot
Water

RE: SONGS
put on the headphones
crank it to max
get your head in the space we were in back in the 1972 days

this one, is Hammond Organ done right.

This is Lee Michaels again
from a live concert

His voice, reached right into your head
this one is long
and slams you down and back

like tromping the throttle of a Porsche on Twinkies

The hardest working man in music. cheers.gif

I loves me some Warren Haynes! The weird part is that I was listening to Warren when I saw your post!

I'll post some music tomorrow when I have more bandwidth. I am getting close to going over and I don't want to get throttled back.

İmage
And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made
