I had a dream, then I wake up and read about it in the paper

This is a little weird...

I had a dream last night. JR and I were at a hospital, I don't know if we were patients or doing some research. 4 old men were sitting at a table in a corridor, playing cards. JR said he wanted to ask them a few questions and started interviewing them about demons. After a few questions I told him "I think demon is not exactly the word you're looking for, a better word would be skogsrå in Swedish (Huldra)". Then all of a sudden a very small (about a foot and a half) gnome like entity, a Wight (Vätte) in Nordic mythology, appeared behind the table. I'm like Holy crap are you seeing that? Nobody did, I was the only one seeing it. The wight gestured to me with its hand to follow it. So we followed it up some stairs in a tower like structure. Unfortunately about 4 floors up I woke up.

Now, I never dreamed about these mythological entities before and thankfully I told JR about the dream before reading any paper. But when I did browse through the local newspaper I was like WTF coming across this article about an exhibition opening tonight in this area. It's about "entities in local folklore" and the first word is Skogsrå (Huldra). It goes on to talk about Wights and other mythological creatures.

Monster mosquito panic! Global warming causes elephant-sized zombie mosquitoes to invade Florida; victims sucked dry

Giant mosquitoes the size of elephants are invading Florida and sucking so much blood out of victims that they shrivel up and die, warned health authorities in Seminole County. They're being called "zombie mosquitoes" because a bite from one of these massive mosquitoes -- which can weigh up to 200 pounds and can carry a full five gallons of blood -- leaves victims shriveled and pale, looking much like a zombie. Those few who have survived encounters with the creatures say being bitten by one feels "like being stabbed by a pitchfork."

The American Red Cross is hoping to find a way to hack the tiny brains of the zombie mosquitoes and install remote-control interface chips that would allow Red Cross volunteers to pilot the creatures as if they were blood donor drones. "This could drastically increase the success of our blood drives," one worker told Natural News. "We just have to train them to deposit the blood at a Red Cross collection location." Watch for the Red Cross Airborne Insect Platoon to be deployed soon.

There has been some confusion in the public response to the zombie mosquitoes. When a local television station warned that "the blood suckers are coming!" several local conservative non-profit groups thought that meant they were being raided by the IRS. The panic ended when they realized the more sobering truth. "It turns out it was only elephant-sized blood-sucking mosquitoes with a 20-foot wingspan," explained Melvin Mayhem. "Compared to the IRS, that's nothing."

The rise of the zombie mosquitoes is, of course, attributed to global warming. "The problem is that too many humans are exhaling and too many cows are farting," explained Al Gore, spokesperson for Blood and Gore, also known as Generation Investment Management (GIM). David Blood, CEO of the company -- and yes, that's his real name just look it up -- is excited that global warming might give rise to yet more blood-sucking creatures. (And no, I'm not referring to Al Gore himself.)

Police in Alabama are reportedly attempting to capture zombie mosquitoes in Florida so that they can be used at roadside checkpoints to take blood samples from innocent citizens. "If giant vampire mosquitoes take your blood, then we don't need a warrant," explained off-duty officer Peewee Powers. "We then extract the blood from the creature and submit it to the NSA for analysis and archiving."

McDonald's is urging Florida residents to "eat more cheeseburgers," which makes human blood resistant to mosquito sucking because it turns your blood to sludge. "Cheeseburgers can save your life," declares a new McDonald's television advertisement.

And yes, in case you haven't yet noticed, this article exists solely to make fun of all the highly-exaggerated reporting and fear mongering we're now seeing about the gallinippers mosquitoes now being spotted in Florida. News organizations are going bonkers over this mosquito, reporting that their bite feels like "a small knife wound." I'm not making this up. You can read this at Mother Nature Network.

That same story goes on to report, "Florida is about to be invaded by monster mosquitoes..."

Fox News also reports that mosquitoes "20 times" the size of normal mosquitoes "have swarmed Seminole County." Apparently we are all supposed to cower in terror.

"This mosquito was so big I actually called the Seminole County Health Department," reports one reader. Seriously. Will they call 911 next? That same story, by the way, also carries a quote from a reader who implies the mosquitoes were caused by global warming. (I swear I'm not making this part up.)

I say, well heck, why not declare martial law and call out the National Guard? Why not tell residents of Florida to "shelter in place," Boston-style, and have armed troops go door to door searching everybody's homes for mosquitoes? Apparently this is some sort of national emergency, right? I mean, they can FLY! -

Need Advice: I am really burnt out Not sure what to do.

I know these places are not the place for advice but I need to ask. I am really burnt out at my job. I am dreading it more and more each day. I am becoming depressed. The problem that is making all this worse is, I have no other place to go. I am unable to go back to college, I am developing health problems, I am so burnt out and depressed I just really don't care. I need to keep working some to be able to pay a few of the bills because If I don't I will be homeless. So what Is the right answer? I am not able to get another job and I do not even have to energy to try if I did have the chance to get another job.

The stress this is having on me is unreal. Having to fight burn out and the stress of having to pay bills as well I am only 27 and my energy and will is being drained real fast.

DENVER, Colo. — A tornado formed outside the Denver International Airport Tuesday, stunning thousands of people inside, and sending them into bathrooms, stairwells and other safe areas until the storm passed.

"It was clockwise and tilted a little bit," the Weather Channel's severe weather expert Dr. Greg Forbes said after seeing photos of the storm. "It was a definite tornado."

Although there was no major damage, the National Weather Service's Boulder office says the tornado went over some of its equipment, temporarily knocking it offline for a few minutes.

A 16-year-old boy is accused of stabbing an elderly couple to death in their home.

This kind of sh!t doesn't happen in my town... we average about 1 murder a year ...and nothing a brutal as this was. No motive. No robbery. Elderly couple while in their bed. Not just stabbed but chests were opened up.

To think this kid lived this close to us. I've probably seen him at the park lots of times.

This is the kind of town where we leave our doors unlocked. My dad even found some confused russian kid sleeping in our car one morning. He must have been tripping balls the night before or something... so my dad drove him home.

Funny how some of these reality shows are giving people ego complexes!!!

Nut just like radio, TV loves to show the same rteplay hundreds of times as do radio does music, yet they continuously only play one or two things from the group or person so many times that your f****ng sick of the song forever and never was'nt to look at the actor or musician again. Funny how the networks do that to their own ratings , by doing that to their listeners, watchers and employees, how disturbing!

The problem I notice in the world is not the people of the world, but the ones using and trying to control the people. They strip us of our rights, wages and lives, while brainwashing us to believe it was for something good, but filled with sinister lies all throughout.
Beautiful artifacts that are priceless and unique , lost forever by bombs and weapons....Lives forever lost and shattered into too many pieces to ever be normal again.
This is the machine you allow to breath, as do others and others behind them. What a waste of life, hard-work and economic assets. No wonder the history books always keep changing and evolving every twenty, fifty, hundred years to hide and keep out what they don't want you to know, some certain aspects or key figures; hate to know what some other countries might pump into their kids mind..?
Looks like greed may just cause WW3, everybody talking about, people should of stepped up a decade or so and made the change when all their 9-11 tin hat friends were getting harassed by the same set of liars!!!!

Meanwhile, Republican critics of the DHS believed the department was too incompetent and inexperienced to conduct meaningful cybersecurity oversight for the nation’s critical infrastructure. Both CISPA and the Cybersecurity Act died in session last year.

The drive for an expanded DHS role in domestic spying, however, has been picking up steam. CISPA was reintroduced in the House of Representatives in February and passed in April. Although the bill stalled in the Senate, one of its most troubling portions remains intact: a provision granting private companies immunity from “any provision of the law” if they break privacy agreements between themselves and their customers to share private information with the federal government.

Kids Brutally Vandalize Man’s Family Home — But Now He’s the One Facing Jail Time

Jesse Daniels, 53, is accused of endangering the welfare of children for the actions he took after catching four boys in the act of vandalizing his father-in-law’s home over the weekend. With extensive damage done to the inside of the house, Daniels and his wife called 911 — and he went inside of the residence to confront the boys.

But that’s not all: Daniels put the kids inside of a closet while he waited for authorities to arrive. It was this latter action that created an even bigger legal conundrum.

Two days after this debacle, the police went back to Daniels’ home and arrested him. The parents of the children (ages 8 - 10), claiming that the man threatened the kids with the hammer and was rough with them, insisted that charges be filed. So, Daniels faces four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
