‘Unmasking’ Report Vindicates Trump Claims on Surveillance

House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) announced on Wednesday that he had learned that members of President Donald Trump’s transition team had been under surveillance by the Obama administration, that individual names had been “unmasked” by the intelligence community, and that those names had been leaked to the media.

Nunes’s information — which he said he would deliver to the White House later — vindicates the bulk of Trump’s claims earlier this month.

yup.gif The truth is going to get out about all this.
The problem is a lot if this surveillance is illicit and they don't want it getting out that agencies are engaged in criminal wrongdoing for the purpose of catching supposed criminals in the first place, and even worse, using illegal wiretaps for political gain.
Also noteworthy was Comey’s statement that there was no evidence of wiretapping.
So I guess a little bird told them about General Michael Flynn's conversations with Russians.
Comey kinda' lied didn't he.

A lot of lies have been getting told.

There was a damn FISA warrant. You don't get a FISA warrant and not use it. And you don't get a FISA warrant and not let the President know you are tapping the Republican candidate for President. The warrant might not have been Obama's idea but he was certainly aware of it. (I think it was a Clinton idea.)

Now there are Obama faithfuls in the alphabets leaking info.

Time for a deep purge and investigation.

I do not know much about this, the media outlets in Europe don't go there because it makes the Trump "bad guy" story fall apart. The people left in the agencies from the last administration and the former administration itself look like their hands are painted red.
Corruption is worldwide, the truth is very ugly.

1. Fact that the 1st FISA was denied (only two denials out of 10,000+ applications mind you) says a lot.

2. Of course Trump "knew" ~ he's in a position to 'know.' The whole 'wiretapping' canard is smoke blown up rectal orifices. (Trump is 70 yrs old ffs, he used a euphemism he knew.) Very few "wires" need to be tapped these digital days.

I sincerely hope that there is a serious, legal pole that can be shoved up the appropriate arses and broken off.

The whole "leaker" thing is a white-hat, black-hat thing.

Yeah, some of the leaked shït might be bad, but ya' gotta' love Wikileaks ~ they did try to black out individual's names in an effort to save lives. And the things they are 'leaking' people definitely NEED to know wtf the gov is doing in their name. (White hat leaking.)

The Black hat variety back-fired on them. It was done to make an association of collusion between the Russians and Trump. (snort-giggle) But, it has come around in two weeks to bite them on the ass and sully the reputation of their hero.

The way I see it, as long as the TRUTH of things comes out, the leaking, while not respectable, per se, is serving a purpose. If you're not doing anything "wrong" (note, I didn't say illegal) people won't feel the need to snitch.

If you're selling state (or political) secrets, then I say you invited all the consequences.

Karma, in this case, only took two weeks to boomerang. Generally, it takes years and lives/reputations are ruined in the meantime.

I think Trump is truly trying to do the right thing. There are so many tiger traps in the swamp that it will take the guidance of the angels for him to remain unscathed as he drains the swamp. A well-crafted sting by the Deep State could well and truly plug the drain hole and back the swamp shitter up permanently.

Let's hope the better angels prevail.

The Democrats are now officially flipping out.

Quote:Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) on Thursday called for an investigation into House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), who bypassed the panel to brief President Trump on information related to U.S. surveillance of his transition team.

During an interview on CNN's "New Day," Cummings, the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, called the Intelligence panel a "very special committee."

"They are privileged to information that most members of Congress may never see and so you expect them to be extremely confidential," he added.

"What he did was basically to go to the president, who's being investigated, by the FBI and others and by the intelligence committee, to give them information."

Think of this as well

They both went missing ,

about 5 years ago , two bodies of little boys were
unearthed at an Abby near by the Palace .

No one cared .

iagree.gif There's nothing new under the sun.
It's just more widespread now because technology has allowed it to happen.
The used to have to spy on people that were "persons of interest" with actual agents, warrants, manpower, vehicles, etc.
The cost effectiveness of these was far better than the lets spy on everyone dragnet deal that it takes a a hundred trillion dollars worth of computer and associated cooling and huge buildings to collect what basically amounts to Grandma's brownie recipe.
Oh... and those computers will be obsolete in a couple more years. :D

Slant two ; " why would they spy on me ? "

answer : " Because they can , and you'll let them get away with it "

as shown in the now , How Many Citizens even want to review
the Wikileaks Material ,,,

out of sight , out of mind , they fear their leedle minds may flip
out if they read them .

Oh yeah, talk about control through fear... back when the Hillary, Podesta emails came out CNN reported it was illegal to go to Wikileaks and download the documents, but it's "different for the media".
Trying to instill a sense of fear in people not to read those documents.

CNN's own fears and nightmares were what came through loud and clear.

Yeah, it will be some mid-level functionary. Or, if they get too close, another Vince Foster.
