Imagine praying to Him to be brutally murdered so he can be "resurrected"!
If that isn't insanity, I don't know what is. ............

Abraham understands so little about God.
That Abraham guy said God told him to go sacrifice the son that he says God had been promising him for years.
If that isn't insanity, I don't know what is !

That traveling salesman who came through the other day from Egypt claimed he heard that the virtual ruler in Egypt was a Hebrew who had been sold into slavery by his own brothers.
Never heard nothing crazier in my whole life !

Moses understands so little about God.
That Moses guy whose been sheep herding for 40 years said God told him to go and liberate the slaves in Egypt !
If that isn't insanity, I don't know what is !

That son of a carpenter Jesus they crucified yesterday made the craziest claim I ever heard.
He claimed He was the Messiah Son of God and was coming back and would create something He called a "Church" that would be indestructible.
If that isn't insanity, I don't know what is !

I am always intrigued how Moses, having already crossed the Suez canal into Sinai...how could he not find Palestine for 40 years??
I mean, he was already on the coast,,,how could he got so lost?
if only he kept walking for 7 days he would have reached Jerusalem?
I mean, Mary was full nine months pregnant when she set out on an 115mile walk to Bethlehem
why couldn't Moses start walking?
maybe daily manna makes us lazy?

Your challenging, insightful thought provoking questions and observations are, as always, most appreciated !

Seriously?

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice

There is a problem with all this tripe you are spewing. Millions of people have asked for help in "his" name and didn't get it. They still suffered. They still died. They still lost loved one. They still lost everything. Why?

Oh yeah, it was God's plan.

fuck off

The disturbing element is that Opie is asking Jesus to brutally murder him. Then Opie would resurrect, and the world would rightfully recognize Opie's incredible spiritual power. Psychosis.

Do you deem it "disturbing" that God planned for Jesus to be crucified before the world was created? And Jesus knew it.
I believe my asking for the hit team through the gate is due to Jesus finally making me realize what has been Jesus plan all along.

Saying/thinking Jesus is going to murder/shoot me is like saying God crucified Jesus. As the Roman soldiers crucified Jesus, the hit team will shoot/behead me.

compared to the crucifixion, what I envision (shooting-beheading) is a 'walk in the park' ......... many, many more painful ways to go than what I envision ... my sister just died after years of terrible health and being bedridden-invalid

8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, all whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb who was slain from the foundation of the world. Rev 13:8

ğck off

Such as you cite God, then totally discount life after physical death. Thus you analysis is very flawed. You really know nothing of God's dealings with the "Millions of people" you act like you know all about.

we never asked to be saddled with this heavy burden of saving the lost.
do you think it is easy for us to go into the world and spread the gospel?
many who engage in missionary positions die in the process
it is a burden of being a christian to save the heathens
jews don't have to proselytise , hindus don't have to proselytise , bhuddists don't have to proselytise...
only christians are burdened, and I thank god I am not a Jehovah's Witness or a Mormon ? I am too shy to go door to door
