Wow are you really putting show and nail art contest nail designs in as "fails"? Do you even know how hard working and creative the artists doing them have to be? The jungle nails and the sea creature nails for example are definately competition nails. Nr 14 is an example of deco nail art super popular in japan. Many of them are nails done by bloggers and artists on deviantart as art, not as fails.Just because you don't like a particular nail design, please dont categorize them as such, because you don't know how many hours have been put into them. I hate duck feet nail shape, but love stilettos, does that make duck feet nails a failure? No. That's just pure ignorance

Manicures never interested me in the least. I had my nails done once at a friend's insistence and they were fun for about 2 hours. But it's always interesting to see what someone wears. For ie a co-worker (who is really good at running the label maker) has pink camo nails.

Do people with long nails actually do anything other than nails? Seems awfully impractical and I personally don't like long nails. Only reason I kept them semi-long is because JR likes a good back scratch 13.gif

Him's a good boy chuckle.gif

But seriously, manicured nails to me are short and clean. Or else you're obviously not making food or involved in anything that requires a minimum of hygiene.

Guitar players must keep relatively short nails on the fingering hand, however some plectrum style nails on the strumming hand might interest me.
