Pretty good year that year .
Rock and Roll turned a Page , became almost pure Heaven , almost
a Perfect point .

Road was open for Safe Friendly experimentation and adventure .

The last year of a U.S. Built good Car , everything after was crap .

Had my 16th Birthday that year , there are only 4 Birthdays in life ,
that have meaningful transitions .

16th is the second ( though 12 is when you get your first Pube ,,,
it takes you until 16 before you actually have practiced enough to do any good
with your sexuality )

1971
Vintage Year , none other touched with so much good stuff .

The World spin changed that year ,

I was 15 years old and in Grade 10 with absolutely no worries and too many drugs and parties and bell bottom pants abounded and I wore moccassins.

And us gals trying to figure it all out.

Saw the BEST Earthquake I ever lived through .

Took my first long distance hitch Hiking Trip

and ,,,
Found a less confusing perception of what gave me meaning to my Life .

1971 , was the year , that all we worked through during the '60's ,,,
became a more solid foundation ,,,

By 1971 , we had alternate thought processing down to a science .

all that came before in that venue , simply were the pieces to
the Puzzle ,

1971 , the Puzzle became the full Picture .

My sister was born. I remember being constipated and my brother connecting straws to build a pipeline to make me drink more.

I was 18 on February 30th of 1971.
That was the day I was supposed to register for the draft for the Senior Class Trip to Da Nang.

There's plenty of room for all God's creatures. Right next to the mashed potatoes!

Well ,,, late comers missed a hella'va year .

People still read newspapers back then .

ya had to hide your Weed in a Drain Pipe down the street
at an abandoned Building .

No one cussed but old retired Hookers
and Carpenters smashing they're thumbs .

The only female with a Tattoo , worked the Carnival and smoked
non-filter Cigs between doses of Snuff , and just happened to
be a retired Hooker .

yepper
stuff was way cool back then .
