The world is bracing for its hottest year on record.

Globally, the average temperature has been 0.68C above average from January to April – the highest ever.

Already this year temperature records have been smashed in Antarctica, Guinea, Ghana, Venezuela and Laos.

Scientists are pointing to the El Nino formed earlier this year.

Change is the only constant, when it comes to climate.

Couple of miserably grey, "mild" winters in a row over here, yes.

Right now a colder than normal spring going on 13.gif

iagree.gif It's been unusually warm here, temps of 30C in May is not normal. Snow was gone in Feb. Up N was like that last week, all the locals saying it's too hot too soon.

Sure it's been a chilly May, but nothing out of the ordinary. If May is warm the rest of the summer tends to be crap so I'll take it. Rained like a sonofabitch last night, but it's back to sunny and windy now. 13.gif

We've been losing our seasons for a long while now. At one time, we could guess what the weather would be like each day. Impossible to do that now. The winters are colder than ever, and we seem to be missing the Spring and Autumn weather. (I haven't got the hang of the US way of describing the latter seasons.)

Summers are hot in a different way too. Stifling and so unpleasant and usually not too long after the hot days come the storms. I won't be surprised if we get more tornadoes, and the flooding.

We all know why this is happening of course. Weather modulation on which 2billion dollars a year is spent. The military were first interested in this, and it's called 'weaponised weather.' It's obvious this would be used for the wrong reasons and will become more and more extreme.

As usual, those who could use such a weapon for the betterment of people, will do the opposite. Insomuch as guiding the bad weather away, and even controlling the direction of tornadoes to prevent the destruction we see (not to mention the deaths) and we could all have been so much safer.

All we'll need is for the electricity to be cut off, and we'll all BOIL. Get your hand or battery fans at the ready!

News: Heat Wave in India

Quote:Heat waves are not uncommon in India. Studies suggest they are likely to get more intense and more frequent.

I wonder why it's been said this will be the hottest year ever? Hmmmm? We know weathermen hardly get the weather correct anymore. Understandable when weather is manipulated though.

I've just checked the news update on the intense heat killing people in India and more than 1,400 have died now. The temperature went up to 118 degrees F., in some places. This is horrendous especially for the homeless and the great many with no air conditioning. tissueguy.gif It was said the heat will get worse. Monsoons are due next week and some are looking forward to the rain. But, monsoons can sometimes cause a lot of misery and death.

These people never should have been left homeless in the first place and people living without general comforts should also have been taken care of. It's sickening how the banking families have always been able to keep their ill-gotten wealth, instead of being made to share it. There could have been an improvement in the lives of every needy person in the world and this world could have been improved 100%..

Sadly we know that's not the plan and the worst people are those in charge of protecting us, angry.gif and that applies to all countries now.

Hi Octo ....Yes, it seems so, but the way they intend saving us is not preferable to the intense killing heat! aaah2.gif

I absolutely agree with you there!! But I'm optimistic the right people will come to their senses and save humanity. Not sure about that of course, but it helps me to believe it.
