I hear ya, I recall my grandpa would paint the trim on the house with Dutch Boy and it still looked the same 10 years later. Everything is about planned obsolescence now. They only make money if you keep consuming. gaah.gif

It will be raining on and off from now on, it seems due to up and down temps.

I always spend the extra $ and buy the top of the line paint. Of course, I wait for sales, which aren't that much, but better than nothing. Actually, I have to repaint the front door of the house soon but I can't decide on which color...maybe a blend-in medium olive green, or a striking reddish brick color, or a stand-out deep tan color.

Well, praise the gods for another lovely summer day. yay.gif

Had to spend most of it in headphones, but the long
afternoon coffee break downtown was great.

News is full of this town center doing best for now of
all Finnish towns, but...beats me. Sure felt aaaawfully
countrytown style dead slow today chuckle.gif
The way I like it, sometimes. :)

Backyard weather station is reading 102f right now at 5:37pm. We have lots of shade trees around and over the house so inside is 80F with air on. Calling for rain tomorrow and that means severe weather with Tornado warnings now a days here.

Not sure what you and JR are growing this year.

We have 4 tomato plants, 5 yellow summer squash plants, Green beans, 2 purple egg plants, and herbs growing.

Herbs planted and a few third genaration.

Rosemary, Sage, Mint, Basil, Chives, Dill, Parsley. & Cat nip that comes up every year.

I planted Cantaloupe and Watermelon, and the birds got it, so come the middle of July I will replant these.

We have two growing seasons here in West Texas, so what does not make, I will replant.
