I read an interesting article just a couple of days ago in the local rag. The neighboring municipality school scores 2 points under the national average in national math tests. Why? Well, one explanation might be they opted for Swedish math books instead of Finnish math books translated to Swedish.

If that is the case though it changed radically since I was in school. I'll have to quiz my nieces and nephews about how they run things these days. Stressful situations can be great learning opportunities. It's a big difference between positive and negative stress.

Hell, if you can teach dogs to drive cars you surely can teach humans some mad skills.
