I saw the 4Ocean ad. I think it's a beautiful idea to clean the oceans, but I'm kinda questioning making more plastic out of plastic? Am I being the party pooper?

What is the alternative to repurposing it? Burying it on land where it will not decompose for .... WTF

Quote:Plastic waste is one of many types of wastes that take too long to decompose. Normally, plastic items can take up to 1000 years to decompose in landfills. But plastic bags we use in our everyday life take 10-1000 years to decompose, while plastic bottles can take 450 years or more

Create islands out of it. It would be the new frontier.

I take it you're not into it? bob.gif

I think it's a great idea! Buy an island, make of it what you will. Build wave power plants, hotels, private properties, desalination plants... Get creative

Plastic, plastic everywhere
Is there anyone out there that gives a care?
On natural soil my feet will be bare
On plastic ground my bare feet will not dare.
