on legalized medical and recreational marijuana.

And I'm happy about it... blink.gif

Ohio was a test for two things. First, it was the first time medical and recreational were on the same ballot. Second, it would have created a monopoly on growing. ALL growing in Ohio would have been controlled by 10 already rich people. 10 people who actually wrote the bill themselves.

Oh well... maybe next year.

Maybe next year.

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice

The monopoly was what killed it from what I've read. At least the voters were well informed.

As much as I wanted it legal, what they were proposing was in left field compared to the west coast, besides medical and recreational should not even be on the same bill.
This was going to make a few people a lot of money, and fuck that very much. There will be other chances to do this right.
