heh heh

That's the way to do it yay.gifyay.gif

I out ran them on my Motorcyle all the time

using a foot bridge across the concrete canal

I'd lead them into the dead end at the park

cross the bridge where their squad cars couldn't fit

slide to a stop turn and smile

then haul ass .

Hi Roger,

Yeah,,,nice,,,wow,,,a real Kowalski car,,,

fast cars caused me trouble,,,

back when all the New Mexico State police,,,

were exMarines,,,I was handcuffed,,,sitting in the

back of a State police car,,,He told me I was going

to jail,,,mandatory,,,for over 100 miles per hour,,,

I was going 125,,,then he began pounding on the

steering wheel,,,and cussing up a storm,,,jumped

out of the car,,,pull me out by the handcuffs,,,

FREAKING MINOR!!!,,,he had my license clipped on

his ticket board,,,he noticed,,,I was 17,,,oh I got

the ticket,,,lost my license for 6 months,,,paid a fine,,,

but didn't go to jail,,,hee hee,,,from then on,,,I ran,,,

never got caught,,,but they knew it was me,,,

they used to flip me off,,,all the time...

These days you really can't outrun the radio

You could maybe once if you get lucky

But i would not run because I would not want to kill someone.

but,,,when going the other way,,,turning around,,,

I ran,,,exciting stuff,,,and hey,,,you got to do

something for fun around here,,,yeah,,,I was a

little bad ass,,,went to mountains,,,traded car for

Redneck Car Show

I have seen almost all of those things done on cars

cracks me up when someone used a bungie cord on their windshield wiper
because the wiper motor went and blew a simple fuse .

Father had one of these. Souped up and would do an 11 second quarter mile at the track.

Wish I would have had the chance to drive it.
To tell you the truth I'm surprised I didn't kill myself between the ages of 16-25 racing people on the main highway in the town I grew up in. speed limit 45 mph, many times pegging the needle on the odometer which only went up to 120 mph on my first car.

Now you try stopping from those speeds with drum brakes all around wtfkitty.gif
not fun.

one time it was raining and I lost it doing exactly 100 mph. My friend was with me. I literally slid about 100 meters sideways. I passed about 10 huge trees in the median, when I got to the very last tree, my car slid into the grass median and turned it into mud. My car was almost completely covered in mud. The next day I went to work, came back out and one of my tires was flat. I thought surely I had taken a nail during the slide.
Nope, I just slid so far sideways it ripped the tire off the rim. Only cost me $7 dollars to get the tire put back on the rim. chuckle.gif

I swear I've had so many close calls that someone up there is looking out for me.

Another funny racing story. My friend and I were out in his grandfather's Cadillac, can't remember the model, but it had a v8 in it. We were racing these two headbanger looking dudes who were in an old chevette hatchback. Well my friend was too worried to drive his grandfather's car too fast so he would only take it up to 95 mph. We were just messing around racing them every time we came to a red light, not too many people were out on the road. So like 3 or 4 times my friend would smoke them off the line, but not go passed 90-95 mph, AND THEN THE CHEVETTE WOULD EVENTUALLY CATCH UP AND PASS US doing 100+!!! They must have did something to it to get it to go that fast.
Well the last time we raced them off the red light, they had just passed, were like a car length ahead of us and they HIT A RACOON and went up on two wheels!!! Luckily the dude driving was able to control out of it. But seeing that chevette going up on two wheels after hitting the raccoon, well... I couldn't stop laughing. Guess you had to be there chuckle.gif

LOL no those redneck pimpouts wouldn't roll over well here. There are annual mandatory car inspections and they're pretty hardcore. If you don't pass inspection your car is not legal or you have one month to fix it.

What a great t bird! hi5.gif Knew an old lady in my hometown in Indiana that had one that was identical. I offered her god money for it, she said she would will it to me instead.
She did, however her son was a lawyer that pulled every legal maneuver in the book to make certain he got it.
He sold it for less than I offered her.
Had nothing to do with money and everything to do with him getting control over everything. What a control freak.
