9 Reasons Why Sanjay Gupta Changed His Mind About Marijuana

Gupta filmed a documentary that aired on CNN on Sunday, August 11, and earlier this week wrote an editorial on CNN.com in which he admitted that the research for the movie changed his mind about the drug and its medicinal effects.

After traveling the world, meeting with medical experts and medical marijuana patients, Gupta concludes "we have been terribly and systematically misled for nearly 70 years in the United States, and I apologize for my own role in that."

He was the greatest american I admire. His words is valid in our days even more. But what I see today is sheeple only, no brave hearts, no real heroes.

AS is Finnish chuckle.gif As for the States, there's 21 States that it's legal for medical use, 12 more that have pending legislation so that's 33 out of 50... a majority where it's available for those who need it, and it's legal for recreational use in Washington and Colorado with Cali and Oregon looking like they will do the same soon.
Look at that compared to Sweden's draconian policy of mind numbing stupid.
The States are quickly passing Europe in terms of giving up the vilification & demonization based on unsustainable economics.
I see the less than informed leaders in the Nordic countries cling to a policy based on ignorance and convictions of monetary convenience.
In reality, they are sucking down a big pharma, timber industry, big oil protein shake. Those are the industries that line politicians pockets to keep it illegal, and we all know those who are mentally deranged enough to crave power and run for office are also money whores. The prospect of it all scares them to death, as it gets into their wallets.
Furthermore, I saw a spark in America over the Bundy ranch that I thought the Prozac and fluoridated water had nullified in the sheepsies.
You can't pick a tipping point where people say enough is enough - it just happens, and it did happen, and will continue.
People stood up to pseudo authority. America is dead? I maintain hijacked is a far better way to put it. Moreover, the so called "leaders" are dead from the neck up, and will stop at nothing to maintain an outdated status quo that benefits only 5%, and they are, of course, part of that 5%.

Well he admitted he was wrong, something that is unusual in itself.

Worst statement on the matter here was some stupid ass health and safety official stating that a legal cannabis debate is useless in Finland since our climate is too cold for growing it anyway.

That's a comment from a politician that jumped at the chance to publicly make an ass out of themselves and parade their total ignorance on the subject.
Too lazy to do research and convictions based upon wallet padding courtesy big pharma and business.
