Quote:A dog shot his master to death with a rifle in a freak accident in Russia.
Sergey Terekhov had let his two dogs out of his Lada car to run before he went on a hunting expedition in Russia's Saratov region.
One of the animals bounded up to him and clawed the trigger of his loaded TOZ-34 hunting rifle.
The bullet hit Terekhov, 53, in the abdomen.
The man collapsed on the frozen ground.
His cousin immediately called an ambulance, but Terekhov died on the way to hospital.
There's nothing good here, and pictures of dead bloody rabbits at the link.
So many questions:
Did the dog have a license to carry?
Did the dog have a license to bag humans?
What kind of gun safety course had the dog taken?
Did the dog owner and his dogs have special relationships, especially on cold winter nights? Was one dog favored over the other? (Jealousy motive?)
How does a rifle with ammo for shooting little rabbits kill a man? Answer: Small hole. Big bleed.
Did the dog 'look guilty' when the medics arrived? I've seen videos of guilty dogs on YouTube. You don't have to be Lt. Colombo to tell whether or not the 'friend' set the bitch up.
