That's right. And it was filed on May 31, 1996. and Granted on October 14, 1997.

Wonder which Big Pharma company bought this one and hid it from the public.

Gilead Sciences makes most of the Aids Medicines I bet it was them.

Gilead is my largest holding.

They also have a new drug called Sovaldi which is a CURE FOR HEPATITIS, all types.

12 weeks of pills, one a day- $84k-$166k- full cure.

There is a DESPERATE ATTEMPT BY LARGE INSURANCE AND EXPRESS SCRIPTS TO BREAK THE PRICING ON IT RIGHT NOW. Literally demonizing Gilead.
It started about 6-8 weeks ago

The actual truth of what is happening is that the insurance industry is "warehousing patients by denying to buy Sovaldi at that price"
In effect they are refusing to approve access to the drug to the CURE FOR HEPATITIS because they think they can win a CAMPAIGN THROUGH THE MEDIA and pay lower prices later.

.........its all about $$$$$$$$$$$$

Gilead has a MAJOR SET OF DRUGS COMING UP FOR APPROVAL from august through November also.

--------------------------

On a side not my second largest holding is in MANNKIND AFREZZA, dreamboat inhaler.

It is ALMOST INSTANT ACTING inhalable insuline, in nano particle size THAT DOES NOT REQUIRE REFRIGERATION.(africa, blacks, diabetes)

PDUFA approval is due on July 15

Say goodbye to NEEDLES.

Approved for type one AND type two diabetes.

Bio pharmaceutical catalyst calendar.

"Upcoming drugs, three phase process, then sometimes an ADCOM((council sentiment)) the PDUFA(approval)
NDA filing means the company screwed up and needs review.
Most can take years, some gain "orphan status" -or high need -high speed approval.

Like Sovaldi did.

Anyway, here is the calendar with descriptions, (we use this to trade with, stock prices soar on each approval)

Look at what GILEAD has between Aug-Nov ticker $GILD
