Sorry if this is a double posting. The first one has vanished.

Two biggies have collided in the last 48 hours to really mess up how I make a living.

#1- I have email subscriber lists of about 6,000 people to my newsletter.

Well, Yahoo has decided to bounce 75% of them so they don't get the newsletter. The subscribers drive my business.

#2- I started advertising on Bing. It took a full two weeks to get that set up although it should have been doable in an couple hours.

After two weeks and finally getting the ads running, Bing as decided to disapprove ALL of my ads!!

Words like cancer and cure are just too potent for the delicate eyes of their audience. We wouldn't want the public to get any strange ideas that there just might be any cures for cancer.

Curing cancer is too dangerous a concept or too offensive. Can't have that! Don't be offending anyone's belief system - that's worse than cancer itself.

Between my newsletter being pretty much worthless and not being able to advertise a book, I'm pretty much screwed.

No good deed goes unpunished.

Pray for me. hug.gif

Words and topics... we know all about it. The FDA has a problem with natural remedies as well, that policy filters down to Google and Yahoo.
Freedom of speech is beginning to be a thing of the past.

Yes, it was in the news not long ago how the FTC and the FDA were leaning on places like Google, Facebook, Microsoft not to allow the people to see words like cancer and cure in the same sentence.

They basically threatened them with costly legal problems should they allow those words to be used.

They won't even allow them to be used as key words that the public looks up. Yes, they public an enter the words, but my ads can't use those words as triggers for ads about by book!

The public has a right to make up their own minds, but they don't realize how the government is censoring what they have access too.

I just tried to run an ad on Bing using the word "Banned."

The ad said "Two medical words banned."

Fecking Bing wouldn't allow it! So not only won't they allow the words cure and cancer, they won't even allow the word "banned."

It feels like I'm living in a communist country.

Communist countries know that they're communist.

Despotism is what I would go with. 13.gif

The individual is not as important as the group these days so curing cancer in an individual would be very bad for the pharmaceutical community.

Thank you, White Ribbon.wave.gif

Last night I created at least a dozen new ads using words like "gently" or "Triumph~Don't survive." All were disapproved based on the website itself.

I've now edited the website. Please pray that they approve them.

I'm interested, can you post a link?

There's plenty of room for all God's creatures. Right next to the mashed potatoes!
