So ...... The US President Barack Obama decided to seek support for military action in Syria from the US Congress.

"A vote against that resolution by Congress I think would be catastrophic, it would undermine the credibility of the United States of America and the president of the United States. None of us want that," John McCain.

How about that? Where are the principles? So senators are just there to warm their seats?

“I don't have to agree with you to like you or respect you.”
― Anthony Bourdain

“He who cannot put his thoughts on ice should not enter into the heat of dispute.”
― Friedrich Nietzsche

“This nation was conceived in liberty and dedicated to the principle - among others - that honest men may honestly disagree; that if they all say what they think, a majority of the people will be able to distinguish truth from error”― Elmer Davis

“Our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others, past and present, and by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future.” ― David Mitchell
