Quote:Pelosi may step down as minority leader tomorrow, tells reporters, ‘I love you all very dearly’

Nancy Pelosi is staying mum about whether she wants to keep leading the Democrats in the House of Representatives, though suggested Tuesday that she’ll announce one way or the other on Wednesday if she plans to step down from her leadership position.

“While I love you all very dearly, I thought maybe I would talk to my own caucus before I shared that information with you,” Pelosi told reporters during a Tuesday press conference at the Capitol.

Pelosi suggested an announcement about her future will come during a Wednesday press conference.

“I’ll see you tomorrow at 10, for those of who you are interested,” Pelosi said with a laugh.

Maybe it's time for a newer model.
Some thorough-bot like Mrs Urpilainen, perhaps chuckle.gif
U.S. version.

Wonder if Mr Taylor still is/will be Obama's Food Czar..?
The presidential selection was a win/win for Monsanto,
that's for sure.

(Why the f**k would Americans use that title for anyone?
Where did that come from..?
Stuck "joke"?)

These so called Czar positions popped up in recent history. I recall kinda tripping out when I first heard it used.

Meh. My Socialist mother thnks she's wonderful. I played her that vid and she said WHAT??? then said it couldn't be because it wouldn't pass because it had been amended, and how could it be amended if it wasn't passed, i said "Umm...riders?" Oh, yeah, well okay. Then she accused me of cherry picking the faults in the bill, I said, oh no, those are the Good points of the bill.

If it was true universal care, it would halve not double the cost to US taxpayers. Fascism wrote this bill sad2.gif

The leaves, twigs, and other debris (the bad parts) are the majority of the bill. The cherries (the good parts) are relatively rare. Must have been a frost when the bill was in bloom.

Your mother has a problem distinguishing cherries from trash. I have no advice on this topic.

I would not wish her harm, but find it disturbing and depressing that Californians continue to reelect her. I always expect Americans to have good judgement and am disappointed when facts indicate otherwise.

This is really happy news. Hopefully this will be her last term and she will retire to enjoy her grandchildren.

"Sigh", your analysis of her character appears accurate.

Hm...Nicky II Romanoff at least re-established the Duma.
The Boyar Duma seems to have been ancient; Peter the Great
dissolved it in 1721, transferring its powers to the so called Senate.

All in all, I'd say the Czars were more interested in "democracy"
than the Bolsheviks. Stalin was much more of an absolute totalitarian
than any Romanoff.

Still bloody weird, the U.S. use of the term in question.

Now carry on, please...

Thank Jay for the heads up, I assume that will be 10- PST.

I will keep a heads up, I would so love to see her fall after that "holding congress in martial law" fiasco she pulled to get the money for bankers.
