That's more than my car is worth.

I'm trippin' on the fact companies can still charge men and women different rates and nobody's crying discrimination. 13.gif

They are probably out protesting for James Gunn to get his job back.

Probably asking for a comparison.

Depends on where you live, what you are driving, various other things and your driving record.

Rates vary from State to State depending upon the corruption of each State.
Here in Oregon, insurance is relatively inexpensive, about $400/year for a "no fault" policy. Full coverage is significantly more.
When applying for a drivers license it's been suggested that you could mark M for male, F for female or an X for non gender specific.
.I have no idea how insurance companies deal with the X.
I would imagine that it's probably the same as the female rate but who knows, most of those people don't even own cars around here.

Of course you can get as expensive coverage as you want here as well. In fact you don't need car insurance at all, most people with crap cars don't insure them, but you do need the statutory motor liability insurance

An old beater with p/l p/d is the way to go here, but there is inspection yearly, meaning you get to throw about €1,000 at the sum bitch once a year in brakes, shocks, welding or some other pointless repair.
