I was in the newspaper as a child, the piece was called "The Faces of Music". I wonder if that newspaper was digitized to the web.

Any way, does anyone know if it is easy to bug or hack into a land line phone with voicemail?

A friend of mine had odd occurrences on her landline, there was always an echo sound in the background (like being in a tunnel), then either she or I would hear random tone sounds, but we never heard these tones at the same time. You know those tones that you hear when you press the number pads. Also she never sends calls directly to voicemail, well somehow her phone was set to go immediately to voicemail. And she rejected a software engineer as a lover, a while back, so .....

ohhh..

well i bet it could be done. especially ppl who know how in the mix.

the better question then is how to cut them off..
that is what i'd be doing anyhow.

then she would know for sure it was done.

I have read that bugging a land line is done via the cables or central station, but if one has voicemail at a service providers server, could a hacker get in via the voicemail?

The problem seems to be that he may also have hacked all of her contacts' phones too, or have their phone numbers. So, he could possibly find her new number through her contacts(?)
