I'd never heard of beaver tails until that thread. I'm sure they're somewhere in BC not anywhere I've been.

Beaver tails usually show up at outdoor festivals...well, here in Ontario anyway.

That's a bit radical don't you think? Maybe a few bitch slaps with a beaver tail would suffice 13.gif

Putting all food in a blender is a lazy person's time fix. chuckle.gif

I tried a very plain beaver tail once at a festival, and it tasted like a donut to me.

Poutine? Pffttt... That's just fries with gravy. We've been eating that in the south since, like, forever.

And, yes, they are deliciously evil.

Yep. One of my ski place hangouts adds braised beef and bacon on top too. drool.gif

Yup. Had it with bacon. Had it with sausage. Had it with cheese. Had it with jalapeños. Whatever the toppings, it is yummy.

I hear it is better with Freedom Fries than French Fries.

I am sort of snowbound today, we have a large dumping of snow and I am staying off the roads, so here is a little more on Canadian snacks as only an American can relay.

As for the mac/cheese, the Canadian sample would taste just as good, if not better, if 4 tablespoons of butter was added too. blink.gif
