How are these UNFAIR questions to ask, when trying to determine a person's intelligence?

These are Culturally biased questions designed not to determine intelligence but rather to "weed out" an outsider, or a poor person who may not have access to any of those things.

Its also an illegal line of questioning for any OFFICIAL or PROFESSIONAL purpose whatsoever.

And the Last question is both Racist, Sexist, and Xenophobic.

Because in 1967, baseball was an almost all white game, the game had recently just before that time, been shrunk to just a few countries, and Sports is a MAN's thing in America.

If I were to use that kind of questioning,....

Some of the questions would FAIL people who are from the third world.
Then it would fail anybody by WHITE Americans and Europeans
Then it would Fail Europeans
Then it would fail Southerners and people who are NOT from the Northeast.
Then it would fail people who are NOT from Philadelphia.

Then it would American Women, and some Minorities.
Then it would fail Young people.

That's what it would end up doing.

I was riding in a Yugo and got into an accident. The car was demolished and we were lucky to escape unharmed. That damn squirrel came out of nowhere!

I have never ever seen any IQ or any other intelligence test that has those kinds of questions on it - certainly not ones used by professional assessors. Most have to do with identifying patterns and figuring out the next one in the sequence, such as boxes with dots in various corners.

They may favour one form of cognition over another (the good ones test several though, including short-term memory) and I've taken enough of them to know most of the 'Cultural Bias' arguments are nonsense.

What I DO think IQ tests fail to account for are the variations in attitude of the person being tested toward being tested altogether. I suspect this is why Asians tend to score higher - Asian cultures tend to be more deferential to authority, are used to rote learning and put more effort into attaining high test scores overall.

While it was quite creative, I wouldn't read too much into it.
I think this is OP's test, nothing standardized.
