We see evidence of a pre ice age culture here.
The establishment is in denial.
During the ice age there were "hotspots" even in northern latitudes, that's never addressed either.
Could have been civilizations here during.
When the glaciers receded it scoured the land pretty good, but didn't take it all.

Well for one, the pre-ice age coastline is way inland and there's much to explore. There's Viking remains here that the National Board of Antiquities refuse to investigate. We have documented some very unusual rock features that I shared with a couple of university geological departments in Finland and Sweden and also the National history museum in Sweden.
They all say it's perfectly natural...
