I too have suddenly been in a shopping mood and strangely enough I just started night classes. I wonder if there is a connection? chuckle.gif (Pain and pleasure)

Weird synchronicity for sure. Although I wasn't exactly in a shopping mood, it was more out of necessity. chuckle.gif

Right now it is medical terminology level 2 (shït load of work damned.gif) because I do not want to work full-time any more and it seems all the part-time jobs that pay well are in health care. I want to ease into semi-retirement, balancing work/home sooner than later and the admin. jobs in a hospital require medical terminology. I don't want a job where I am too accountable as these types of jobs are very demanding upon my energy and time.

I also take art classes when I can. The next one I booked is called Form and Shape, in November, which explores drawing the human form using cubism. My real desire is to start up my own internet business during semi-retirement and retirement, selling handmade jewellery pieces and maybe handmade crochetted bikinis, and I was just discussing with a university professor how to get on the front page of Google; "by just being logged into your business account at Google", she said. Then she gave me the card of a Marketing Consultant who can get my business there. However, I'm sure there's more to it than that.

Well there will always be a demand for health care staff on all levels. My sister quit her job at a sticker making company to get retrained as a nurse. She loves it. My best friend also is taking night classes to become a nurse.

Pretty much the only occupation you can get here to be 100% sure to get a job.

Good luck with your endeavor. cheers.gif

Thanks Octo cheers.gif that's nice of you to say that, but hard work and studying is what gets those high marks; like for level 1 my instructor gave me 99% and I was shooting for an 85%. wtf2.gif

Nice boat Cy. As for restoring teak, all I do is sand it down lightly and rub in teak oil using elbow grease. Don't you find sailing too much work?
