Another new neighbor

It seems that a cougar has taken up residence somewhere near us. We have not seen it, but we have heard it several times at night. She is trying very hard to find a mate. (The caterwaul they make that sounds like a screaming lady or child is the female looking for a mate.) No offense to her, but I hope she stays single.

I wish I had access to some trail cams.

Very very cool Kreeper! How's Scrappy doin?

Keep in mind they like children, every year in BC people are attacked, dogs too. In fact a woman my S.O. grew up with was out riding with her boys 8 and 10, they were attacked she jumped in and took her youngest from the cat. The boy survived she did not. Just an FYI...

This print hangs on my wall, I bought it because it's identical to a cougar den I put a survey plot in on Van Isl damned.gif

That is exactly why I hope it just moves on. I love all the wild neighbors we have, but that one worries me.


Scrappy is doing ok. Her leg is healing well.
