Social media, KB, other CT sites loading at a snails pace.
Is it this Waco Part II?

I can't say I've noticed anything up here. Was reading other comments here and there saying essentially the same thing you did OP.
I've been super busy today and can't keep up with much.

I thought KB was down, but I just couldn't get in via PC. Tried on my phone and boom, came right up.
Thunderbird was having problems getting mail and lots of sites timed out or were hit and miss.
Something strange going on.

The only problem I have with the internet is the high price for low speeds.

Last week I was having problems accessing KB on my wifi. It was the router having issues though. The computer that is wired in didn't have any problems. I used the little reset button to reset the router and it worked again, but the next day went right back to the same issue. I somehow fixed the problem, though. I was on KB on my tablet and I was going to watch some videos so I turned the wifi back on. Out of curiosity I clicked on a KB thread. The connection hesitated for a few seconds and then opened up. I have not had a problem since.

The tier two tech guys at my provider had not idea what was wrong. NONE of my wifi devices would connect until then but the tablet and cell phone would connect on 4G and the wired computer had no problems. It was just wifi and the only site I had problems with was KB. I did not try any other CT sites. And the response I got was that the IP could not find KB.

Weird, huh?

Quote:Apple's Safari Browser Crashing Around The World

Apple's Safari browser suddenly crashed on iPhones, iPads and Macs worldwide on Wednesday.

Launching a new tab in the web browser then trying to type into the address bar crashed the built-in browser for some users, sending them back to the device's home screen.

The issue appeared to be related to the browser's search suggestions feature, and a temporary fix involved going into the settings menu to turn off Safari suggestions.

Not all phones and computers appear to have been affected by the bug. It is unclear whether the problem was related to an update for iOS which was released earlier this week.

spock.gif That's quite interesting, given the other oddities that went on today.

I had to download AM Browser just to view the web today. Nothing would load up on Vivaldi or lunascape.

Beginning at around 7:30pm EST on 1/27/2016, GitHub's core services https://status.github.com/ have been offline. Most repositories and other functionality is inaccessible. The status page is calling it a 'significant network disruption.'

This was pretty widespread.
