"In Time" was a cool, simple sci-fi idea
(and, of course, cynical contemporary allegory)
that could have worked, but got one foot
stuck in some sort of Bonnie-and-Clyde crap.

Kinda liked the first half of it.

And that Timberlake guy mebbe oughta stick
with the schlagers.

Still worth watching.
Thx for the tip.

Just watched "Melancholia", Lars von Trier.
I liked it, must confess.
Very doomy, dense atmosphere throughout.

Glad he uses tripods nowadays.
At least outdoors.

Bloody good movie, imho.
Lots of rather...umh...pregnant symbolism just
beneath the creepy surface.
(And the girl does show her beautiful boobs.)

Woulda been 5 doobies, except I still couldn't
really cope with Lars's enormously shaky camera
work in the indoor scenes.

I'm just trying to watch "The Space Between Us".
The space flight and Mars scenes in the beginning
were kinda cool, but then I yawn.gifed.

Way too predictable - except I didn't realize it was
a teeny drama until too late chuckle.gif

Gets 2 doobie.gif doobie.gifs

for the sci-fi work, last 15 minutes unwatched.
Impotent squander of high-potential idea, all in all.
In my humble opinion.

Next..!

I'd recommend "A Cure for Wellness". It's a breath of fresh air as far as horror and psychological thrillers and like the Shining, it's destined for cult status. 4.75/5 and the best movie I've seen in some time.

Oy...yeah, creepy as can be, we loved it.
We saw Eat local, it was damn good and Alien: Covenant also damn good.
For an action/comedy I recommend Boone... funny as hell.
Way over the top.

Eat local was really good, gave my gf nightmares. War Machine with Brad Pit was an excellent comedy I'd recommend it.

I watched Star Wars Rogue One last Night. I was not impressed.

It was just lacking that 'Cry of the Valkyrie" Style pace that the earlier films had.

And I had a hard time figuring out where it belongs in the Timeline of the Star Wars Saga.

Don’t waste your time online, invest it with steemit.com
