Well hell yes we are. We are forced to choose between their selection of two candidates in a fake "election" that is actually decided by the electoral college.

WE don't elect anybody.

Yes, because we are living in a plutocracy, a government by the wealthy, but even more profound and disturbing is the faith shattering fact that we are also being forced to live within a fake reality, for we are living within a fabricated world, a magnificent illusion within a simulated universe, which may actually be a super advanced computerized simulation designed by super intelligent aliens and those aliens may be evil, or perhaps within the holographic singularity of a super massive black hole...

It's has always been a battle over deciption & authoritarian control. Some of us learn to avoid it for fight it. It's just how much oposition we have to deal with in each era the snakes always come back. And the mass headed snakes always wants a firm grip of control threw communism democracy etc it always infest a system to fool us over time.
