Leo Panitch: Greece will default on its debt, banks want to make Greek people pay a heavy price

Greeks need to follow the example of Iceland, tell The EU,IMF,ECB to ğck off!

Iceland is starting to recovery, because of the actions they took against UK and Dutch Banks.

This is what Greeks think about there new enslavement Policies.

Quote:U.S. stocks tumbled as fears of contagion around a Greek default picked up, adding more pessimism to a foreboding mix of U.S. economic data.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average sank 157 points, or 1.3%, to 11919 in midday trading, wiping out the week's gains. The Standard & Poor's 500-stock index fell 19 points, or 1.5%, to 1269 and the Nasdaq Composite shed 35 points, or 1.3%, to 2644.

The declines came as Greek fears intensified, after euro-zone officials failed to make progress on discussions about Greek aid and protests against austerity measures turned violent in Athens. Greek bonds were pummeled, sending yields to their highest levels since the inception of the euro.

Read all the economic doom at http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-2011...10295.html

This is going to have a real bad ripple effect. I don't see how this charade can go on much longer, the Greek prime minister was asked to step down....

...only to replace it with the global Phoenix, I guess.

The scope of the "economy" swindle is mind-boggling, to say the least.

Finland has what? 5 500 000 inhabitants on 340 000 sq kilometers.
Good infrastructure, good hitech know-how, good agri-dito.

We could easily get out of all international undertakings right f**kin' NOW!!!
Proclaim this the world's first free eco-State!

Got this feeling most Finns (outside the pussified Helsinki region) would do just FINE
without bananas and coffee, if push came to shove.

And bring back the money with the sign of the lion on it!
Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

Everyone could easily go back to work if the EU and it's failed brainchild "globalization" would be told to ğck off by the Finns.

Hey Panpandropolopolous! It ain't working!

"Greece On The Verge Of A Precipice" As A "Lehman-Like" Avalanche Could Be Set In Motion As Soon As Sunday

Keeping a track of all the fluid, hourly changing developments in Greece can be unbearably complex, and as a result one may be left with the impression that things are better than they really are. They aren't. As the SocGen report below summarizes, Greece may have about 72 hours before it gives itself a Pass/Fail grade on Sunday, which in turn will have massive repercussions on the Troica bailout, on the eurozone, on the EUR, and on all those "Lehman-like" consequences you have been reading about
