I've been thinking recently like for such historically prominent countries always involved within so many world changing events throughout so many past days and years and centuries like do they even still exist?!

Well if they do,if they are still here among us and have not quietly vanished unnoticed and if their politics and their millions of people and their technology and their cultures are not frozen still spellbound lost in a trance?!

For around the past twenty years or so at least they are never in the news and i never read anything about them i mean like nothing not a word and no one ever talks about them either i mean like nothing not a word anywhere from anyone not even on the internet,i mean its almost like petrified silenced extinction or something?!

I mean like doesnt anyone else think this all seems rather unusual and worthy of wondering why compared to say the United States and Russia and Canada and England and Pakistan and Japan and Iraq and Israel ect ect ect that are in the news and read about and spoken about constantly and continuously everywhere all the time?!

I figure countries that aren't frequently mentioned in the news are probably pretty chill places to visit.

Yeah like seriously, after both those countries and their oppressed inhabitants were nearly wiped off the map during world war two, well, actually, they seem to have been wiped off the map for all intents and purposes and all but ignored by the mainstream media for several decades, like nothing ever happens in Austria and Poland anymore, well apparently not?!

Like hopefully alien motherships didnt come along and extract both those countries from the earths surface and as far as their millions of people and their current events and their technology and their cultures they seemingly might as well have been taken away and implanted upon another world in another galaxy far far away?!

I havent heard anything about Poland since like forty or fifty years ago during their solidarity struggle for independence from Russia or something like that anyways, its been so damn long i actually forget whatever that was and as far as the once brightly shimmering upon the worlds stage Austria, nothing at all?!

Could they be Potemkin countries? I know a man who boasts he is Polish but is he really? Perhaps he is paid to be one?

Quote:The phrase Potemkin villages was originally used to describe a fake village, built only to impress. According to the story, Grigory Potemkin erected fake settlements along the banks of the Dnieper River in order to fool Empress Catherine II during her visit to Crimea in 1787. The phrase is now used, typically in politics and economics, to describe any construction (literal or figurative) built solely to deceive others into thinking that some situation is better than it really is.

I mean like theres supposedly tens of millions of people living in Austria and Poland and nothing news worthy ever happens in those countries? apparently not, like name just one damn popular song or movie from those countries in the past say twenty years? and so maybe they actually were annihilated and wiped off the map during world war two?!

Heres shattered Warsaw the capitol of Poland during and right after the second world war >

Germany and Russia both invaded and divided and occupied Poland...

Germany and Russia both committed countless atrocities there...

But the allies only declared war on Germany...

Hmmmmm? i wonder why?!

Overall Poland suffered worse than any other country during the second world war...

With almost 20% of its entire pre war human population annihilated...

Kielbasa Swojska from the Podhale region.

You can apparently get Zywiec Piwo and other polish beer.

There are however rumors that some polish beers taste like dog piss.

But if you can get beer and sausage poland definitely exists.
