Germany and Russia both committed countless atrocities there...

But the allies only declared war on Germany...

Hmmmmm? i wonder why?!

Overall Poland suffered worse than any other country during the second world war...

With almost 20% of its entire pre war human population annihilated...

Interesting point,,,guess they wanted to win one battle at a time,,,

Patton wanted to go for it,,,after the war,,,not sure that would be bright,,,

anyway,,,last year Russia spent 91 billion on defense,,,spent 55 billion

on Olympics,,,US pays for their space program,,,lots of the Olympics,,,

well,,,my guess,,,maybe even closer now than then...

Not only did The United States and England and France not declare war against Russia, only against Germany, while knowing damn well that both of those countries attacked Poland, the United States and England were also more than well aware that evil Stalin brutally murdered almost all of his army and navy and air force officers,as well as intentionally terrorizing and starving to death around 10,000,000 to 20,000,000 Ukrainians,as well as operating so many sadistic Siberian slave labor death camps during the 1930s and 1940s and beyond and yet the United States and England still allied themselves with Russia and sent that country several billions of dollars worth of war material to help them defeat the Nazis,so who knows what the hell was really going on behind the scenes?!

General Patton was murdered and thats a massive cover up and a vast conspiracy deserving, but never receiving, as much attention as Lincoln and Kennedys assassinations...

When the hell do we ever hear about these other two American presidents who were also killed while in office?! James Garfield shot July 2,1881 and died Sept 19,1881 and William McKinley shot Sept 6,1901 and died on Sept 14,1901...

So all their millions of people and all their technology and all their cultures and all their politics have remained in a petrified do nothing go nowhere trance half asleep while producing no newsworthy events and situations and so ignored by the worlds mainstream medias for decades?! because thats exactly what seems to have been going on in Austria and Poland for longer than most people seem to not realize...

You have a very western, egocentric way of looking at the situation. If your confusion is to why these countries haven't played a major part in world politics since the end of the 2nd world war then you've answered your own question. During WWII the enemy of the allied nations was from Austria, and Poland was of the first occupied countries and used almost like a prison. As you know, the war eventually ended leaving these countries to rebuild. Poland had problems with their communist government up until the mid 70's which was big news around Europe, but since the 80's has been focused on coal production. They hosted (alongside Ukraine) the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship. I could provide a similar list for Austria but there's no point.

To draw a comparison, you've probably heard a lot about the 15/16th century Mongolian empire, and judging you by your superstitions, you'll probably be surprised to find they're still a country too, with a large export of natural minerals and a population of around 3 million.

If you want to find out about a country, research it, travel there, do SOMETHING other than watch the news and wait for them to mention the country before being sure it still exists.
