Might have something to do with the fact theres probably multiple hits of acid seeping into his forehead from behind his headband...

I love long drawn out improvised guitar solos of incredible virtuosity like this...

Hes the most famous and revolutionary guitarist to ever walk upon this planet and he only released three studio albums and imo only jimmy page and a very few other guitarists can compare...

His awesome version of bob dylans all along the watchtower is like the greatest cover version of any song ever made...

I remember reading about eric clapton who went to see and hear a relatively unknown guitarist named jimi hendrix perform in a club in england, when eric had already been performing and recording professionally for a few years and he was awestruck by jimis profound playing and commented "After seeing and hearing him it was like i never even picked up a guitar before"

Too bad jimi hendrix was taken away and died so young because he would have undoubtably ripped through and tore up the 1970s and 1980s and beyond with all sorts of new music we'll never hear...

i couldn't listen to his shit with the exception of 3rd stone from the Sun
and little wing

everything else was in 9/11 beat and sucked

screeching shreds irritate my Ear's sweet tooth

like you had to be dosed to listen to his noise .

Jimmy Page was simple scales over dubbed

Alvin Lee of " Ten years after " was much better

Jerry Garcia had improves in Chrystal clarity without
the over dubbing nor the shit Hendrix used to enhance
his loud lousy noise .

Jorma Kaukenen Can sit with an acoustic guitar and take
you into paradise .

Les Moore on a 12 string

I could go on

Was that Stevie Ray Vaughn trying to climb the wall at the beginning?

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice
