Yeah, one with a 30 minute commute.

Being freelancer has it's ups and downs.
You get to pick what you do, but there is a risk involved.

That's the game eh?
Sometimes you score a great contract, sometimes you have no income for a while.

You freelance too? IT?

No, not IT. I had my own production company for years, I'm an animator, but times got really harsh a few years back. I'm still working on stuff, but on the side.

Ah i see.
Well the main advantage i have with IT is i can contract all over the world and do most stuff remotely.

You're on payroll for some company now?

I'd have a bad time going back to working for a boss :/

Hahahaha - no, the Finns are certainly not right.

They still have this awkward notion, that daily society
ought to revolve around common human decency
and a certain quantum of commoner solidarity -
the overwhelming majority of them actually following
the rules they made for themselves.

Not to mention folk soul and spirit, that pesky old
thing, that stings the hearts of the globalists so baaad.
That weird tribal otherness, stubborn as fekk.
In a cutting-edge infrastructured country.

It's hilarious to watch the journa...I mean MSM propagandists
battle Finnishness. It ain't going too well.

Gods, I love this place :)

I'll let you in on a secret:
- Best place to live on the planet.
Even with the deadly winters 'n all.
You get to mind your own business
once you figure out how to keep the
control freaks at bay, It's in the culture.

Very hard to make a cent on the side, though, yup...
(unless you are a member of the political class)
you're right about that. But doable, if you're
willing to get hands dirty and shoes worn.

Yeah I have a day job, but I like it ok.

Maybe I'll have my own business again, I'd like to try something else.
