Things like this happen so fast sad2.gif one moment's inattention and you're a part of it. Or causing it. i nearly nailed a school bus Tuesday morning, ğkking N bound bus driver swung across my S bound lane right in front of me, I'd been asleep there would have been a pile up because I was doing the speed limit and there were 7 or 8 cars on my ass. He (she?) had a turning lane, abso-ğkking-lutely no reason to swing into my lane. That's how it happens. gaah.gif

Me, I'm the angel, because I was paying attention and whacked the brakes so hard I left skid marks a hockey player would be embarrassed of. 13.gif chuckle.gif
I did call the bus depot and vented a little lol

Saw a lot of outlandish risk-taking on the road over the years blink.gif
with various results - but never anything like that blink.gif

Poor bastards...looks like a warzone.

Thanksgiving is the biggest travel day in the US. It's actually in the odds for such an even to transpire on that day more so than any other.
You're right AS, some crazy drivers here. Had people fling themselves on the road in front of me without even looking to see if it was clear to do so, and don't get me started on the awful traffic situation in this town.
Buildings, transformer boxes, bushes and trees keep you from seeing traffic you're supposed to yield the right-of-way to.
Stop lights everywhere they don't need them, and NONE at the busiest intersection in town. The traffic engineer here must work for the local body shop lobby. chuckle.gif

Bloody traffic lights more about prestige than actual functionality. 15.gif

Yes the Fog was extremely dense yesterday morning. I travel that road all the time going back and forth to Louisiana. It's good interstate highway.

Just watched the video, it may be trivial you all but it is not Baymont. Beaumont pronounced Bowmont. Like a Bow and arrow.
