Quote:Roundy's and Harris Teeter brands of Southern Style Hash Browns are being recalled because the company fears golf balls were harvested and processed with the potatoes.

McCain Foods USA, Inc. is voluntarily recalling the frozen hash browns. In a statement, the company said, "despite our stringent supply standards," the golf balls "may have been inadvertently harvested with potatoes used to make this product."

Eating pieces of golf ball could pose a choking hazard or cause physical injury to the mouth.

Why would you even plant them in the same field? Potatoes are ready to harvest weeks before golf balls.

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice

See? They shouldn't be planted together at all! Now, if you told me the gold balls were harvested with corn then I could understand it. But potatoes? No fuckin way. This was probably a lie spread by a different corporate farm to get more shares of the market because their shitty hash browns weren't selling.

Potato and golfball hash browns should really never enter the "whats for dinner" equation.

If they're waffle cut I'd eat the golf balls anyway.
