French police have stormed two hostage sites in Paris and north of the city, with the hostage takers reported dead.

Explosions were heard at a warehouse in Dammartin-en-Goele, where two suspects in the Charlie Hebdo magazine shootings had been holding one hostage.

Explosions and gunfire could also be heard at a supermarket in eastern Paris, at Porte de Vincennes, where several hostages were held.

Wouldn't your head bob a little and bleed when shot with an AK-47 from 10 feet away? Sandy Hook all over. Qui bono.

GRAPHIC!!

no hon, i meant they probably had nothing to do with it.. look at the other "suspect" they accused in the press and he was in a school class room at the time.. if they are dead they cant ask them any questions so they are guilty.. 13.gif

depends on the clothing and stuff. if the victim wears multiple layers of clothing the blood gets soaked up first by the clothes. the clip is pretty short so he may have bled a bit later?
another thing is the ammo used. 7.62 x 51 or whatever an ak 47 shoots indeed is very powerful. but if it's full metal jacket it will go through soft tissue relatively clean with "less" severe wounding. hollow point or soft point ammo expands on impact and tears the inside of the body into pieces before it eg breaks into small fragments that stay inside the body or leave it through multiple exits.
if he had taken a shot to the head his head would have exploded like that watermelon. but that's because the head is made of bones which break apart and fly around while soft tissue is just soft tissue. gelatin.
the first thing you learn in the army is that an enemy hit by fmj ammo is most likely still alive and able to fight further for a while.

and that no recoil argument is just bs. it's not like he's shooting a machine gun or something really heavy. lol i mean he even rebuts his own argument by showing a guy firing an ak 47 one handed with no noticeable recoil.^^"

edit: the weapon used could have been an ak 74 btw which uses 5.45x39 ammo.
