Quote:Trump Ordered Mueller Fired, but Backed Off When White House Counsel Threatened to Quit

Amid the first wave of news media reports that Mr. Mueller was examining a possible obstruction case, the president began to argue that Mr. Mueller had three conflicts of interest that disqualified him from overseeing the investigation, two of the people said.

First, he claimed that a dispute years ago over fees at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Va., had prompted Mr. Mueller, the F.B.I. director at the time, to resign his membership. The president also said Mr. Mueller could not be impartial because he had most recently worked for the law firm that previously represented the president’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Finally, the president said, Mr. Mueller had been interviewed to return as the F.B.I. director the day before he was appointed special counsel in May.

After receiving the president’s order to fire Mr. Mueller, the White House counsel, Donald F. McGahn II, refused to ask the Justice Department to dismiss the special counsel, saying he would quit instead, the people said. They spoke on the condition of anonymity because they did not want to be identified discussing a continuing investigation.

Bad blood, Mueller should resign. He cant be trusted to perform an impartial investigation, he's out to bring him down.

What part? That Trump was going to fire Mueller or that Mueller can't do an unbiased investigation?

Yet NONE of them will say a word!!

They are all complicit in the crime. Every last one of them. If the rank and file government employees had a lick of integrity, this kind of crap would happen a lot less often. But they don't. Sure they'll rationalize it that it's not their job while they collect their green checks every two weeks. Their checks are the key. They would rat in a minute if they didn't have a mortgage and a car payment.

They could give a good ğck all about anything beyond dat house payment! Bastards.

You could not be more right. They sacrifice everything and everyone for their foam beds and roofs. Their kids and parents. What kind of monsters are they?

Thank you for joining me in this sentiment.

It's friggin' unbelievable because EVERY SINGLE one of those IT guys would know how to sign in, make a several key strokes, and have that list of txts spitting out of the printer in a few minutes flat.

But then they become aware of the letter to Congress and everyone of those clowns suddenly have no clue, "Oops they must be gone forever."

It's like walking into the kitchen and seeing your child covered in chocolate icing next to a highly eaten on three layer cake, but going back into the TV room to see if the Walking Dead is on instead of asking what happened to the cake.

Amazing - those memory blocks.  13.gif

When I was in my late teens and early 20's we lived in the Dc area. I attended a few get togethers that were attended by a good number of government workers who were older than me, many 20 years older. The #1 topic was always the same: what was the value of their homes and real estate in the area.. Everyone knew what the prices were of homes that had sold around them. That's what their radar was set on.

So they could tolerate absolute corruption at their workplace. They just couldn't abide by a shrinkage in their net worth which came from their home. Nothing would get in the way of that metric, Exposing government crimes didn't pay the mortgage, so to hell with integrity.

Pray for me. hug.gif

Your prayers have worked like crazy. Maybe one of these days I won't have any behavior issues.

Of course, Mueller won't stop until he finds some totally unrelated bullshit to try and trap him with. He's an accomplice to the Hillary Obama Uranium deal. 13.gif wtf2.gif Is he doing in this position.
