Quote:A SHOCKING number of babies are testing positive for marijuana use, according to a recent scientific study.
Baby wash, baby shampoo and bedtime bath soap are all seemingly innocent products used every day. But scientists at the University of North Carolina found them to be the culprit behind a spike in false positive marijuana results in baby's urine, the study, published in the journal Clinical Biochemistry, said.
The study found it had to do with how the baby's urine is captured. Tests for tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) - the active ingredient in marijuana - usually get more than just urine, and these tests were capturing the soap residue on the baby's skin.
The scientists said none of these soaps actually contain any marijuana, it is just that something in the soap triggers the false positive.
First, why the hell would you test a baby for cannabis to begin with?
Second, if it's 'something' in the soap, why not tell us since they evidently know.
Perhaps they want us to try experimenting with baby soap trying to extract the marijuana mimicking substance so we can snort them and become zombies too?
