That's what I thought, the only real illumination would be from the four lights on the mini sub, or ROV, whatever the case is, can't really tell. Shouldn't be any lighting down at that level, and it's brackish water with a lot of tannins.

i noticed in the original sonar
the current is from left to right
the image above shows no sand or clay amassed on the left end of the craft.

I drop Anchor all year long

after 10 feet, no sight of the Anchor on its way down

current is greater the deeper down it goes, and have had to let out 70 feet of line
at a debth of 23 feet,,, becasue the current carries the anchor way past where it is dropped at surface.
current pushes even mud.

i have pulled anchor after 2 days
and it feels like a ton of mud climbed onto it

in one instance
i was anchored off for 6 days

i had to tie off a bouy to the anchor line
motor up,, and cruise forward of the anchor and allow the bouy to float it forward of landing to get it loose.

anything 300 feet wide
will cause a drift of sand and or mud to pile up into a bar around it

in some cases
it will completely cover an item deep in mud or sand.

also
the sea bed is far to distinct in detail, too clear an image to be factual.

lights are too focused in this, visibile light stream is too extended .

water, like fog, filters light down in a very short distance.

daylight from the surface is disipated within a few yards and this is
far too clear.

Great video, but I'm not sure how valid the technique they are using really is.

Quote:Baltic Sea 'UFO' still cloaked in secrecy

Over the past few days, only dribs and drabs of information have been forthcoming, the most tantalizing being the "breaking news" dispatch released on June 7, from the research team's own website, claiming that, "The divers are now down and investigating the circle and reports from the ship say they are really amazed. There is definitely something unusual hiding at the seabed – a Mystery Beneath. More information and pictures will be released next week."

Then, on Sunday, Dennis Asberg sent out a Facebook update which only adds to the confusion while deepening the mystery--and the hype. "Everything is top secret now because of the risks, hope you all understand this is no game." posts Asberg. "But the truth will be reported shortly."

Sketchy details are more the province of the treasure hunter rather than the legitimate scientist, so these dispatches have to be taken with the proverbial grain of salt. But, if there is a startling, world-changing discovery in the offing, even the dedicated professional would be hard-pressed on just how to release that news.

just the latest thing i've found. this is taking quite a while. time.gif

UPDATE!

It's a rock formation which almost seems to be cast in cement, according to the divers.
At one point there was what is likened to a pearl necklace - or that someone has tried to make a fireplace with an inch-sized rocks on the ocean floor.
The camp fire type rock formation on top of that which constitutes the large circle that was discovered with a scanner tool last year. Divers images shows that the circle in turn consist of several blocks formed by "rolls" or "mushrooms" that is attached to each other, forming the circle.
Overall, the object is 60 meters long and about as wide.
Elsewhere, it looks like someone has pinched the rock at the edge, as if you have pressed together two molds and it sticks out between stone forms, according to the divers.

The video also says they found an oblong hole, 15 x 25 cm in the middle of the rock that they don't know where it leads.

This is as big in archeological terms as a UFO. A megalithic structure 300' under the Baltic sea would make this construction date back to the ice age when most of the area was dry. A minimum of 10,500 BC. probably much older.
