Why? ....Why? I don't get it. What's the point in doing this? I thought cities were broke, yet they have money to send out trucks and crews and heavy equipment to rip out neighborhood basketball hoops?

Quote:A 2005 state law specifically directs DelDOT to remove things that are in the right of way, which includes the small spat of grass before the curb begins in many neighborhoods. This is done to protect motorists and the people playing sports, according to the law.

playing sports? What sports? blink.gif

Normally this is taken care of a bit differently, but in all honesty the laws says private individuals can't have anything whatsoever in the right-of-way.

Technically it's public property.

It's normally cleared up with a letter wherein the municipal, State, who ever dept of transportation says move it or loose it.

Shouldn't be that hardcore, but in this cluster ğck somewhere there is a bureaucrat that just ğkking ejaculated from enforcing a pointless ordinance, or law. 37.gif

That ƒükkêd up mind set is the only constant on this planet.

Okay, that makes sense. Bt it isn't public property because any of the public who uses it is threatened with arrest. It's gov property maintained at taxpayer expense. gaah.gif

I get the feeling that blonde "representative" of the city will one of the "representatives" proudly directing people onto the right train during the big fema roundup.

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to poor
