The classic full size Bic lighter. For me, it's exactly the perfect size, shape, everything. I've honed my technique such that I can send that cap clear across a room. Definitely an attention getter.chuckle.gif

Well, Octo, I went to the vintages section and there were all these new introduced wines from Spain, which next time, I will try the red that looked interesting and that the grapes were grown on 'old' vines.

I chose another new introduction from France, partly due to the many different grape varieties and that it was hand harvested. It is called Chateau La Tour De L'eveque - Vendanges Manuelles 2012...and mostly because it is a golden amber colour, which intrigued me.

Here's what the label reads:

HAND HARVESTED (Yes in caps)

Grape - varieties: This cuvee has been made with a main part Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvedre and Grenache, Rolle, Cabernet.

Wine making: Hand picked then sorted, the grapes are pressed directly without being crushed to obtain a delicate rose with a long final. After the settling of the juice the fermentation will be carried out at around 18 degrees C in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting: Best served around 12 degrees C, it is also a perfect companion to souffles, fresh or smoked fish, oriental spiced dishes, spicy dishes, lamb, and different kinds of sausages.

It definitely has a long finish, but I'm afraid I ate butternut squash with it and it was not such a good companion. It's is a very delicate wine with a big personality.
