Quote:Wednesday, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke will make history by holding a news conference. Wall Street and the White House, in particular, are hoping there will be no unexpected news.
Bernanke's presser, the first of three this year, is part of his effort to clear away the smoke and mirrors surrounding the opaque Fed. He'll make an opening statement, then field reporters' questions for 45 minutes.
A Fed porno..err promo? What bullshit. This signals a weakened fed thats politically assuming the fetal position to protect it's macadamias from being kicked. Certainly this will make history, but the FED has never operated uder the microscope of the American people before.
Ten years ago most would have said the FED is a government agency. How times have changed, and look at them squirm now that the majority of people have their number.
Important to keep in mind, this is coming right before the inevitable collapse of the dollar.
