Occasional click here doesn't load either.

I don't think it has anything to do with these sites being attacked though.

http://conspiracy.top-site-list.com/

I visited each site, the ones without the mybb software are all still up.

Steve Quayles site is still up. Alex Jones is still up. So it's probably just forums, and just the most heavily trafficked forums.

...so you consider Alien Earth a heavily trafficked forum?

I really don't get what's happening. I'm wondering if it's related to this:

Quote: new "copyright alert" system has begun rolling out this week in the United States in an effort to curb online piracy.

The system, informally known as "six strikes," is a voluntary effort of the music and film industries, with the largest Internet service providers participating.

The program will use warnings and could result in slowed or suspended Internet connections, but users will not lose Web access entirely. Still, some civil liberties groups and Internet activists call it too invasive and warn it could unfairly penalize some users.

Are they going through sites server side to attempt to find copyright violations? Normally people don't share torrents or files on conspiracy forums. I just can't figure out whats going on, but it's obvious they want to hit the conspiracy forums and alternative media.

I clicked through a bunch of sites on the top list and had no problems loading anything.

So right now other then these sites being attacked and the occasional click not loading here and maybe elsewhere this is all just unfounded rumor... which is probably just people trying to make it seem like there is some bigger conspiracy thing going on which is the typical kind of bullshit that always happens when there is drama like this.

Sites hiccup all the time but when something else bigger happens people like to think it is all connected!

Only tried the torrent thing a few times years ago but i used to do alot of downloading using megaupload or something similar and non-torrent frostwire. I wonder how exactly they are monitoring the content you are downloading. Now I switched to copying bluerays from redbox :)

Are you gonna get a warning from watching something copyrighted on youtube before youtube has a chance to pull it? How far are they gonna take this shït? Cause I like free stuff occasionally cause I would never buy it anyways and therefore I don't take anything from them so technically it is not stealing because in order steal something you have to deprive a person of it... and I am not depriving any sales of it to me. If they ƒück this up and people start getting warnings for stupid shït it's gonna piss people off and then people will just start switching to providers that don't do this. They will lose business if they take it any further then torrents... frostwire is p2p while you simultaneously download is that going to be monitored? what are they looking at? upload traffic? only way something like that would work or make sense.
