Turku City Customs in Finland is receiving two dogs trained in the Netherlands specifically to sniff out erectile dysfunction medications received by air-mail. The dogs will be released within a day by the vïäģřå manufacturing pharmaceutical company whose 'experts' also have trained the dogs.

The goal of the operation is to reduce the import of 'counterfeit' medicines. The Pharmaceutical Industry estimates that Finns purchase them 'illegally' every year for approximately 44 million euros.

You guys really use that much vïäģřå? It seem like all those saunas would be enough.

Your translation is just fine, Octo.

44 000 000 €?!?

WTF?
How much are they a piece?
Muahhahhahhahh!
Only a couple of million men of sexually active age in the country
(and that's a somewhat generous estimate)...
WTF?

April Fools too early?

Is there a secret ingredient in the real thing, that
the counterfeiters don't know about..?
How the hell can the dogs otherwise smell the difference?

I think they're not probably trained to find counterfeit vïäģřå alone, just any potency 'erectile dysfunction drug', including vïäģřå, that's not prescribed by your government approved dealer, thus arriving by mail, is illegal tsa.gif

Muahhah...which reminds me of an unfortunate customs-
labrador, who once entered our tour bus in Helsinki harbour.

He couldn't find anything, but everything reeked soooo damned
bad of old ganja smoke :D
Never seen a black labrador so red hot and frustrated!

The customs officers just laughed at us and told us to get the f**k
out of there :D

chuckle.gif I'm having a really hard time believing dogs can sniff out fake vïäģřå. It's the vïäģřå co. who trained the dogs. Gee who'd a thunk pharmaceutical co.s have dog training experts? Psyop rofl.gif they're all freaked out because lots of patents expire soon and generic drugs will be available.
