Quote:"The first trials of controversial sunshielding technology are being planned after the United Nations failed to secure agreement on cutting greenhouse gases."

"Bill Gates, the Microsoft billionaire, is funding research into machines to suck up ten tonnes of seawater every second and spray it upwards. This would seed vast banks of white clouds to reflect the Sun’s rays away from Earth."

"The British and American scientists involved do not intend to wait for international rules on technology that deliberately alters the climate. They believe that the weak outcome of December’s climate summit in Copenhagen means that emissions will continue to rise unchecked and that the world urgently needs an alternative strategy to protect itself from global warming."

However, a study last year calculated that a fleet of 1,900 ships costing £5 billion could arrest the rise in temperature by criss-crossing the oceans and spraying seawater from tall funnels to whiten clouds and increase their reflectivity.

Silver Lining, a research body in San Francisco, has received $300,000 (£204,000) from Mr Gates. It will develop machines to convert seawater into microscopic particles capable of being blown up to the cloud level of 1,000 metres. This would whiten clouds by increasing the number of nuclei.

Other types of geoengineering, such as mimicking volcanoes by using aircraft to spray reflective sulphate particles in the stratosphere, would have much longer effects on weather patterns.

The world at large made Bill Gates enormously wealthy and he pays us all back by spraying god knows what into our atmosphere?
There IS a problem with global warming....
it stopped in 1998 and thats a fact. www.telegraph.co.uk

A vigilante climate change billionaire is just what the world needs. Some of these reflective particles have to be aluminum and barium. They have already been shown to be in the food chain, and we're breathing micro particles in worldwide.
The last thing anyone in their right mind would do is belch even more of that shït into the sky. This is a pretty radical solution to a non-existent problem imo.

Why don't they just make giant versions of these spinning rooftop exhaust vents rig them to serve as windmills and carbon scrubbers?

İmage

Then there wouldn't be any issues about them hurting eagles, they could generate electricity and scrub carbon from the atmospheres.

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to poor

And I'm talking BIG mother fuckers. Way to damn big to sit on a house even thoug smaller rooftop versions would work too!

Imagine it! Farms of these things built all over the world generating nearly free (maintenance costs and construction costs) energy and scrubbing the air. Before you know it, the carbon levels would drop because these things are scrubbing the air and all the extra electricity they produce will mean less production at the coal fire plants and that means less carbon exhaust!
