I know the fact you missed it, it is psychologically advantageous to dismiss the event...But you really did miss out.

Waiting for it to come and wondering what it would look like as it slowly began to show itself was fascinating in itself.

Not only that, but to see it up there, with some slight reddish tone actually was a sight to see.

I kept thinking what old and ancient cultures of people must have thought when they saw something like this happen.

Mars was vivid as well, I can not recall seeing mars that well in my life.

I turned myself to consider wisdom and madness and folly
The wise man’s eyes are in his head,
But the fool walks in darkness.
Yet I myself perceived
That the same event happens to them all.

Nope what I saw was the same as the picture plus I had my telescope. Just not very impressive IMO.

I was under the impression that blood moon would be red not orange. coffeetime.gif

Not sure why you do not find that more interesting, to me I had a fantastic time waiting for it to form and was very impressed.

Not sure how it will be viewable but the super/blood coming on 9/28/15 should be closer and larger.

I turned myself to consider wisdom and madness and folly
