lmao.gif No. And we don't eat pizza.
We have free cable where we live and don't even have it plugged in.
Our widescreen is plugged in to the HDMI out on the computer. Everything we watch comes from the internet.
Finland internet is fast and unlimited, we have no use for weaponized media. We'll think for ourselves, thanks.

+1, minus the widescreen.

Threw out the idiot box in 2007.
Best riddance ever.

Well I have a 55 inch flat screen and refuse to get rid of it.

My XBox is plugged into it.

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to poor

Yeah, I built a gaming rig a few months ago.
I play steam games on it. A TV is fine as a monitor, but I wouldn't dream of watching broadcast TV on it.

I noticed a CNN reporter asking an interviewee a question then followed it with another question, being "Did I interpret that correctly?". I think everything is open to varying interpretations and perceptions. Maybe the right questions aren't being asked or verifiable evidence is not being put forth.

How does another person begin to gauge how someone else interprets anything?

That's an off the wall thing to say.

Not off the wall. It's simple, by asking the right questions, such as "Did I interpret that situation correctly?" where the other person would agree or disagree. Then there is the question of truth or evidence that the collective perceptions or interpretations are evidence-based, therefore more apt to be true.

I guess you could ask that if you were confused about something, I guess it's just nothing I normally ask. Most of the time the stuff I hear is pretty straightforward. Politics is a different animal.

Most Americans seem to be confused when Trump or the WH make comments because no real tangible evidence is forthcoming to back up their statements, only, what it appears to me, to be opinions and perhaps more fear- or Islamaphobia-based, to a certain extent.

"The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, ensuring that there is no prohibition on the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to ..."

Is it any wonder I am confused?
