Quote:Worlds largest hedge fund executive Ray Dalio believes that future inevitable money printing (quantitative easing as the Fed likes to call it) will "lead to a collapse in currencies and bond markets."

Dalio is even kind enough to give a time frame.

"I think late 2012 or early 2013 is going to be another very difficult period."

From the full interview:

Dalio believes that some heavily indebted countries, including the United States, will eventually opt for printing money as a way to deal with their debts, which will lead to a collapse in their currency and in their bond markets. “There hasn’t been a case in history where they haven’t eventually printed money and devalued their currency,” he said. Other developed countries, particularly those tied to the euro and thus to the European Central Bank, don’t have the option of printing money and are destined to undergo “classic depressions,” Dalio said. The recent deal to avoid an immediate debt default by Greece didn’t alter his pessimistic view. “People concentrate on the particular thing of the moment, and they forget the larger underlying forces,” he said. “That’s what got us into the debt crisis. It’s just today, today.”

I agree 100%. this QE program has done nothing to help the economy and will be the death of it very soon.

They are gambling that the people will just take it and suffer like they did during the last depression. They are failing to consider that people are much more informed than they were back then. This is a huge gamble on their part and they might just lose the bet. People are pissed of and fed up and this time TPTB will not be able to hid the truth of what is really going on.

Things are getting ugly right now Yankees, and you're right Kreeper. So many people understand the financial system now more so than in the great depression, that there will be tremendous fallout, even civil war could be on our plates very soon.

It's better by far to let the Federal government collapse and return all powers back to the States than to let these actors raise the debt ceiling even once more. Yes it will mean hard times till the dust settles but in the end, despite the bullshit fear mongering coming out of the Whitehouse, things will get better.

Oh well, we all know this is all just talk. The government will not be allowed to, as most wish; just go the ğck away.

The only people benefiting from government anyway are, as our glorious leader so aptly put it, "professional politicians" 13.gif He pretends to get paid to worry about us, when in reality nothing could be further from the truth.

Pwned by the banks, big oil and big pharma as are 99% of the House and Senate. I hope America remembers getting ƒükkêd without being taken out to dinner when 2012 rolls around. I'd like to see a lot of unemployed "professional politicians". 13.gif

The only saving grace of TPTB will be that most believe the government is in control. The government is nothing more than a tool and a scapegoat. If their plan fails, the govs will get blamed and they will be around to start over.

Alternatively, that might be the plan all along. Blame the world govs for all the problems and step in as the saviors. Trick the masses into handing over power willingly.

Ya know, that kinda reminds me of how the antichrist is supposed to take over...
